The refuge offers guests a natural environment to fully get in touch with the wonders of nature that surround us. Guests are invited to stay in cozy bungalows that have a screened veranda with two hanging hammocks to lounge in.  The five bungalows are equipped with two very comfortable double beds and their mosquito net creating a romantic ambiance, as well as its own private bathroom with a hot shower.

There’s no need to bring your nature white noise music as you’ll have the real thing right outside your door!

It is simply magical to spend time meditating and practicing yoga on the dock of the lagoon while enjoying the chant of the birds and the murmur of the creek's running water or swimming in the pure healing water of the natural spring which is cool and refreshing surrounded by tropical vegetation all the while observing the birds do their thing. It is so private. You can rest in a hammock under a thatched roof... One really finds him or herself in this blissful environment.

Yoga and meditation classes are held in Tambo Ilusión's gorgeous yoga space which looks out on the surrounding natural beauty. It is certainly the second jewel of the retreat center.  The soundscape (the natural chorus of wind, birds, monkeys, insects, etc.) will transport you to a place of natural serenity deep within yourself during your practice; especially in Savasana, the final relaxation pose.
